Saigon Heat managed to secure a 4-point victory 74-70 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 12 points at the halftime before their 47-31 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. American center Will Creekmore (205-89, college: Missouri St.) had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import Lenny Daniel (203-87, college: CS Northridge) chipped in 12 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Four Saigon Heat players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center Anthony McClain (213-88, college: Cincinnati) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 15 rebounds and Pairach Sekteera scored 16 points. Mono Vampire's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Saigon Heat maintains fourth position with 4-5 record. Defending Thailand champion Mono Vampire keeps the fifth place with nine games lost. Saigon Heat will meet bottom-ranked Pilipinas Agilas (#6) in the next round. Mono Vampire will play against the league's second-placed Singapore Slingers and hope to secure a win.
