The game in Strumica supposed to be also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Rabotnicki (5-6) played at the court of 7th ranked Strumica (3-8). Rabotnicki smashed Strumica 79-56 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Rabotnicki. Strumica managed to win third quarter 24-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Strumica to just 7 points in first quarter. They outrebounded Strumica 41-25 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international Gjorgi Cekovski (203-79) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. The former international point guard Dimitar Mirakovski (177-81, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 20 points. The former international forward Dime Tasovski (200-80) produced 16 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian forward Milos Andrejevic (198-89) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rabotnicki moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Kozuv. Loser Strumica keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Rabotnicki's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Skopje MZT Skopje.
