Regular Season Round 13: Enel Brindisi - Auxilium TO 72-69

Sixteenth-ranked Auxilium TO (3-10) made lots of trouble for eighth ranked Enel Brindisi (7-6) on Wednesday. Enel Brindisi managed to secure only three-point victory 72-69. However their fans expected much easier game. Auxilium TO was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 22-14 charge of Enel Brindisi, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Adrian Banks (191-86, college: NW Mississippi CC) fired 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Serbian center Djordje Gagic (210-90, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. Four Enel Brindisi players scored in double figures. Enel Brindisi's coach Pier Luigi Bucchi used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American D.J. White (206-86, college: Indiana) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and the former international forward Stefano Mancinelli (204-83) added 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Enel Brindisi moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Umana VE. Newly promoted Auxilium TO stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Enel Brindisi will face Juvecaserta (#9) in Caserta in the next round. Auxilium TO will play at home against O.Lavoro BO (#10) and hope to win that game.
