We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Avellino where 10th ranked Scandone AV (5-8) was defeated by eleventh ranked Juvecaserta (5-8) 70-62 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 18-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Juvecaserta forced 19 Scandone AV turnovers. American forward Dario Hunt (206-89, college: Nevada) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Daniele Cinciarini (194-83) chipped in 18 points.
