CBA top team - Xinjiang Flying Tige (20-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (14-9) in Urumqi 112-89. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank. The game without a history. Xinjiang Flying Tige led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 27-of-35 charity shots (77.1 percent) during the game, while Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank only scored ten points from the stripe. Xinjiang Flying Tige forced 23 Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a quality performance for American-Filipino power forward Andray Blatche (211-86) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds. American guard Andrew Goudelock (190-88, college: Charleston) accounted for 21 points for the winning side. American forward Charles Gaines (201-81, college: S.Mississippi) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import point guard Willie Warren (193-89, college: Oklahoma) added 19 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank in the defeat. Five Xinjiang Flying Tige and four Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Xinjiang Flying Tige. They maintain first place with 20-3 record. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank at the other side keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. Xinjiang Flying Tige will play against Fujian (#11) in Jinjiang in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank will play on the road against Jiangsu Dragons in Nanjing and hopes to get back on the winning track.
