Regular Season Round 22: Prostejov - MMCITE Brno 101-63

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Prostejov (16-5) smashed at home 11th ranked MMCITE Brno (4-16) 101-63 on Saturday. The game without a history. Prostejov led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to MMCITE Brno's 38. It was a great shooting night for Prostejov especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. American forward Brett Roseboro (208-91, college: UMBC) scored 24 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Jan Tomanec (205-85) chipped in 16 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side American guard Anthony Jones (191-84, college: Indiana Tech) responded with 11 points and 4 assists and power forward Michal Norwa (202-83) scored 8 points and 9 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Prostejov have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 16-5 record having just one point less than leader BK Decin. MMCITE Brno lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 16 games lost. Prostejov will meet NH Ostrava (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. MMCITE Brno will have a break next round.
