Regular Season Round 11: Tarvas - TTU 84-73

Bottom-ranked TTU is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their tenth consecutive match to third ranked BC Rakvere (5-4) 84-73. The game was mostly controlled by BC Rakvere. TTU was better in second period 26-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 24 personal fouls committed by TTU helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Latvian guard Reinis Strupovics (190-87) who scored 21 points and 4 assists. American forward David Haughton (198-91, college: Purchase) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Kristjan Kitsing (205-90) produced 22 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Corey Raley-Ross (193-91, college: Buffalo) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BC Rakvere maintains third place with 5-4 record having five points less than leader Vytautas. TTU lost their tenth game in a row. They still close the standings with ten games lost. BC Rakvere will have a break next round. TTU will play at home against Jurmala (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
