Another exciting game was between first ranked Sokol Hradec Kralove and second-best B&W Opava B where Sokol Hradec Kralove (12-3) beat B&W Opava B (11-4) on the road 87-76. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of B&W Opava B. It was a key game for the top position in Group B. B&W Opava B was plagued by 32 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for point guard Radovan Kouril (184-95) who led his team to a victory with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. David Sirek (195-91) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Sokol Hradec Kralove players scored in double figures. Sokol Hradec Kralove's coach Lubomir Peterka allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Power forward Jiri Dihel (198-87) answered with 19 points and forward Krystof Vlcek (194-91) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for B&W Opava B. The victory was the third consecutive win for Sokol Hradec Kralove. They maintain first place in Group B with 12-3 record. B&W Opava B at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. Sokol Hradec Kralove will play against MMCITE Brno 2 (#4) at home in the next round. B&W Opava B will play against Havirov and hopes to get back on the winning track.
