Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Vendee Challans (7-8) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Aix-Maurienne (10-5) 76-68 on Friday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-68. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Steffon Bradford (198-77, college: Nebraska) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and point guard Aurelien Rigaux (176-88) who added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Four Aix-Maurienne players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Will Felder (201-91, college: Miami, OH, agency: Court Side) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized Mali point guard Ibrahim Saounera (180-87) scored 15 points and 4 assists. Aix-Maurienne maintains fifth position with 10-5 record. Loser Vendee Challans keeps the eleventh place with eight games lost. Aix-Maurienne will face SAP Vaucluse (#7) in Sorgues in the next round. Vendee Challans will play on the road against the league's leader ADA Blois (#1) and hope to win that game.
