No shocking result in a game when second ranked KK Zagreb (9-2) smashed on the road 9th ranked KK Skrljevo (3-8) 92-71 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 60-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. KK Zagreb outrebounded KK Skrljevo 38-25 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for KK Zagreb especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Jakov Vladovic (187-83) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 rebounds and guard Ivan Batur (201-91) who added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. KK Zagreb's coach Daniel Jusup felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Jasmin Perkovic (205-80) with 16 points and 7 rebounds and center Matej Radunic (207-96, agency: XL Basketball Agency) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Five KK Zagreb and four KK Skrljevo players scored in double figures. KK Zagreb maintains second position with 9-2 record behind leader Kvarner 2010. Newly promoted KK Skrljevo keeps the ninth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Jolly JBS. KK Zagreb will meet at home Jolly (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. KK Skrljevo will play against Gorica and hope to secure a win.
