Second Stage Round 1: Koping - Boras II 92-64

Koping used a home court advantage and outscored the opponent from Boras 92-64 on Saturday night. Quite impressive performance for center Mikael Axelsson (207-94) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Ronnie Boggs (193-91, college: Jacksonville St.) contributed with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Guard Daniel Thuresson (187-98) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Robin Alm (184-93) added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Boras II. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Koping will face Helsingborg (#4) on the road in the next round. Boras II will play against Huddinge (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
