Fifth ranked USK Praha won a double-overtime thriller edging one of their biggest challengers BK Pardubice by four points 93-89 on Saturday night. The hosts trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 19-13 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 6-point victory in double-overtime. BK Pardubice was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Jaromir Bohacik (197-92) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Bosnian power forward Igor Josipovic (205-88) who added 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four USK Praha players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Lamb Autrey (190-89, college: St.Mary's, TX, agency: Two Points) with 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and the former international forward Radek Necas (206-80) scored 9 points and 12 rebounds. BK Pardubice's coach Dusan Bohunicky rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. USK Praha maintains fifth position with 11-12 record. BK Pardubice at the other side keeps the fourth place with ten games lost. USK Praha will face Basketbal Svitavy (#7) on the road in the next round. BK Pardubice will play against NH Ostrava and hope to win that game.
