Everything went according to plan in Kedainiai where third ranked Estonian Rapla (6-3) beat 5th ranked Lithuanian Nevezis (3-8) 69-57 on Tuesday. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 12 points. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Devin Brooks (186-92, college: Creighton) who helped to win the game recording 8 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and the other American import power forward Will Artino (211-92, college: Creighton) who added 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Ukrainian forward Oleksandr Kolchenko (194-88) with 18 points and 7 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) and American guard Grant Johnson (196-90, college: Winona St., agency: Dynamics Global Management) scored 9 points and 9 rebounds. Rapla have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 6-3 record having six points less than leader Vytautas. Nevezis lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with eight games lost. Rapla will face TLU/Kalev (#4) in Tallinn in the next round.
