Regular Season Round 12: TTU - Jurmala 79-75 OT

Estonian TTU (1-10) outlasted Latvian Jurmala (4-7) in overtime by four points 79-75 on Tuesday night. Jurmala was trailing by 7 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 18-17 charge of TTU, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 11-7. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Mooses Kaja (198-88) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds and forward Toomas Raadik (201-90, agency: Promotex) who added 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Andrew Smith (206-92, college: Liberty) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 25 rebounds and point guard Edgars Jeromanovs (186-86) scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. TTU maintains seventh position with 1-10 record. Jurmala at the other side keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. TTU will face higher ranked Barsy Atyrau (#6) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Jurmala will play against the league's leader Vytautas where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
