Date: January 16, 2016
Fifteenth-ranked Trefl (4-14) made lots of trouble for sixth ranked Asseco (11-6) in Gdynia. Asseco managed to secure only two-point victory 66-64. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Trefl won fourth quarter 19-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Asseco made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American point guard Anthony Hickey (180-92, college: Oklahoma St.) who scored that evening 26 points and 5 rebounds and center Jakub Parzenski (212-91) supported him with 5 points and 12 rebounds. Even a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds by American point guard Tyreek Duren (183-91, college: La Salle) did not help to save the game for Trefl. Guard Piotr Smigielski (190-89) added 22 points for lost side. Four Trefl players scored in double figures. Trefl's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Asseco maintains sixth position with 11-6 record.
