Second Stage Round 2: Trelleborg - Koping 75-66

Trelleborg defeated Koping at home 75-66. The hosts were ahead by 8 points but lost the second period ending it with a 4-point deficit before their 22-9 run, which allowed them to win the game. Trelleborg forced 21 Koping turnovers. Koping was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Australian guard John Fitzgerald (193-84, college: Lindsey Wilson) notched 19 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Papy Ndiaye (187-94) supported him with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Trelleborg's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 21 points and 9 rebounds by American guard Ronnie Boggs (193-91, college: Jacksonville St.) did not help to save the game for Koping. Guard Robertino Duric (192-92) added 15 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Koping will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Trelleborg will try to continue on its current victory against Lobas at Lomma.
