Very important is a home loss of second ranked Sangalhos (7-6) against fourth ranked Guifoes (6-7) on Saturday night. Host Sangalhos were crushed by Guifoes in Sangalhos 77-51. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sangalhos. Guifoes forced 20 Sangalhos turnovers. Power forward Paulo Sereno (197-96) nailed 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Rodrigo Lima (183-98) accounted for 12 points and 6 assists. Five Guifoes players scored in double figures. Forward Nuno Bizarro (192-80) came up with 11 points and 7 rebounds and guard Andre Duarte (178-81) added 11 points respectively for Sangalhos in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Guifoes moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Sangalhos at the other side keep the second position with six games lost. They share it with Atletico. Guifoes will play against Esgueira / Oli (#8) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.
