No shocking result in a game in Szczecin where sixth ranked Energa Czarni (11-4) defeated 11th ranked Wilki Morskie (7-9) 93-81 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 62-48 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. American point guard Jerel Blassingame (175-81, college: UNLV) fired 18 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Senegalese center Cheikh Mbodj (208-87, college: Cincinnati) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. Four Energa Czarni players scored in double figures. The former international swingman Pawel Kikowski (193-86) produced 23 points and 4 steals and Guinean-American guard Russell Robinson (185-86) added 19 points and 4 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) respectively for lost side. Energa Czarni have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. Loser Wilki Morskie keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. Energa Czarni will face Polpharma (#13) in Starogard in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Wilki Morskie will play on the road against Stabill in Tarnobrzeg and hope to win that game.
