Very predictable result when eighth ranked Catanzaro (10-7) beat at home 16th ranked Venafro (1-16) 78-63 on Sunday. Catanzaro dominated down low during the game scoring 38 of its points in the paint compared to Venafro's 16. The best player for the winners was power forward Giacomo Sereni (202-84) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Tomas Di Dio (189-88) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Five Catanzaro players scored in double figures.
