Second Stage Round 3: Trelleborg - Lobas 76-58

Very expected game when Lobas (1-2) were defeated on the road by Trelleborg (3-0) 76-58 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Trelleborg. Lobas was better in second period 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Lobas 50-28 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Papy Ndiaye (187-94) who scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Anis Ben Hamida (195-90) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Trelleborg's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Filip Lindstrom (193-96) who recorded 19 points and Martin Nilsson (-92) added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Trelleborg will face Wetterbygden (#3) in Huskvarna in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Lobas will play at home against RIG Mark and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
