Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Nymburk B (11-6) defeated at home 8th ranked Kara Trutnov (4-12) 82-76 on Friday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Nymburk B outrebounded Kara Trutnov 47-29 including 35 on the defensive glass. Martin Peterka (203-95) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and international Martin Kriz (198-93) chipped in 21 points and 15 rebounds. Nymburk B's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Center Jakub Kasa (200-92) responded with 25 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Ladislav Maly (181-84) scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Nymburk B. They moved-up to third place in Group A, which they share with Slavoj Litom. Loser Kara Trutnov dropped to the ninth position with 12 games lost. Nymburk B will face BK Loko Plzen (#5) on the road in the next round. Kara Trutnov will play against Slavoj BK Litomerice (#3) and hope to win that game.
