Regular Season Round 17: USK Praha B - Sokol Pisek 69-66

Seventh-ranked Sokol Pisek (8-9) gave a tough game to second ranked USK Praha B (12-5). USK Praha B managed to secure only three-point victory 69-66. However their fans expected much easier game. Sokol Pisek was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Marek Mares (190-96) nailed 23 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and forward Vilem Svoboda (201-95) accounted for 11 points and 12 rebounds. Four USK Praha B players scored in double figures. Swingman Petr Slechta (192-95) came up with 22 points and 7 rebounds and center Dalibor Fait (203-93) added 15 points respectively for Sokol Pisek in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted USK Praha B maintains second place in Group A with 12-5 record having just one point less than leader Sokol Prazky. Sokol Pisek lost third consecutive game. Sokol Pisek at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with Sparta Praha. USK Praha B's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Praha to the arena Sokol Prazky.
