Quimsa cruised past Toros to open win count in Group B. The hosts dominated from start to finish. They recorded a 33:21 halftime lead. Quimsa followed with a stunning 31:12 run in the third term to boost their lead. Quimsa never looked back afterwards coasting to the win. David Jackson stepped up with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Nicolas Romano added 12 points and 8 boards in the victory. Bruno Sundov answered with 12 points for the Nicaraguan team.
