Regular Season Round 27: BK Pardubice - Prostejov 75-60

The game between second ranked Prostejov (19-6) and fourth ranked BK Pardubice (16-10) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Prostejov was defeated by BK Pardubice in Pardubice 75-60. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of Prostejov. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 46-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. BK Pardubice dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Prostejov's 30. They outrebounded Prostejov 47-31 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for American guard Lamb Autrey (190-89, college: St.Mary's, TX, agency: Two Points) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. International Kamil Svrdlik (205-86, college: Fair Dickinson) helped adding 11 points and 6 rebounds. Five BK Pardubice players scored in double figures. BK Pardubice's coach Dusan Bohunicky used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American forward Brett Roseboro (208-91, college: UMBC) with 14 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Slovakian Roman Marko (194-86) scored 12 points and 4 assists. BK Pardubice have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 16-10 record. Prostejov at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost. BK Pardubice are looking forward to face Basketbal Svitavy (#8) at home in the next round. Prostejov will play against BK Lions Hradec (#10) and is hoping to win this game.
