Very significant was Andorra II's (#8) just 3-point road victory against 7th ranked Castelldefels in Group C-B. Castelldefels was ahead by 5 points after three quarters before a 22-14 charge of Andorra II, which allowed them to win the game. It was an exceptional evening for Senegalese center Wally Niang (206-96) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 17 rebounds. Guard David Jofresa (186-95) accounted for 16 points for the winning side. Swingman Adria Mestres (190-89) came up with 15 points and 5 rebounds and guard Marc Sese (188-93) added 15 points respectively for Castelldefels in the defeat. Castelldefels' coach Boris Balibrea rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Andorra II (6-9) moved-up to sixth place in Group C-B, which they share with Pardinyes-L. Castelldefels lost their sixth game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. They share it with Martorell and Castellbisbal. Andorra II will play against higher ranked Santfeliuenc (#4) in Sant Feliu in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Castelldefels will play on the road against Martorell (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
