Regular Season Round 15: JAC Sants - Mollet 79-75

There was an upset in Barcelona where second-best Mollet (11-3) was defeated by sixth ranked JAC Sants (8-7) 79-75 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 9 points at the halftime before their 42-29 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. JAC Sants dominated on the defensive end, holding Mollet to just 4 points in third and fourth quarters. It was a great evening for forward Sergi Coll (194-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Point guard Adria Vazquez (183-89) helped adding 7 points and 8 assists. The best for the losing side was swingman Marc Torres (195-86) with 17 points and power forward Ramon Espuna (206-84) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. JAC Sants moved-up to fourth place in Group C-A, which they share with Barbera. Newly promoted Mollet keeps the second position with three games lost. JAC Sants' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Barcelona to the arena Masnou.
