American forward Diamon Simpson (201-87, college: St.Mary's, CA) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import guard Fuquan Edwin (198-91, college: Seton Hall, agency: Pensack Sports) added 17 points respectively for Ironi Nes-Ziona in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Maccabi T-A maintains second place with 12-5 record behind leader Hapoel J-M. Ironi Nes-Ziona at the other side keeps the tenth position with 11 games lost. Maccabi T-A's next round opponent will be Maccabi Rishon (#4) in Rishon Le-Zion. Ironi Nes-Ziona will play on the road against Maccabi Ashdod (#7) and hope to win that game.
