The game in Mindanao was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Malaysian KL Dragons (12-4) played at the court of 5th ranked Filipino Pilipinas Agilas (2-14). KL Dragons defeated Pilipinas Agilas 105-91. It looked good early as Pilipinas Agilas took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then KL Dragons had a 26-22 second period charge getting the lead and Pilipinas Agilas were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 91-105. KL Dragons made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Filipino-American point guard Jason Brickman (181-91, college: LIU Brooklyn) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds and 13 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. American forward Calvin Godfrey (203-90, college: Memphis) chipped in a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds. American forward Arizona Reid (196-86, college: High Point) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of his eight free throws) and his fellow American import center Nakiea Miller (204-79, college: Iona) added 22 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five KL Dragons and four Pilipinas Agilas players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. KL Dragons have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Hitech. Pilipinas Agilas lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with 14 games lost. KL Dragons will have a break next round. Pilipinas Agilas will play against Mono Vampire (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
