Correcaminos registered the first victory in Panama City. They overcame Aguilas in a tough Group C battle. Danilo Pinnock stepped up with 23 points to lead the Panamanian side. Aguilas eked out an 18:16 lead after the first period. Correcaminos though quickly spurred ahead as they secured a 38:32 halftime lead. Aguilas fought hard to deny the deficit in the second half but Correcaminos held on and secured a narrow victory at the end. Jaime Lloreda delivered 17 points and 15 boards in the win. Jonathan Rodriguez responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds for Aguilas.
