Regular Season Round 10: MBK Ruzomb. - Alba Iulia 82-63

There was a change at the Central Europe Women League leadership position after last games. Round 10 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Romanian Alba Iulia (4-2). They were crushed by second ranked Slovakian MBK Ruzomberok (5-1) 82-63 on Saturday night. It was a key game for the top position in Group A. The game without a history. MBK Ruzomberok led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 25-of-28 free shots (89.3 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Alba Iulia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Point guard Zuzana Lazarova (168-87) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Eva Kmetova (188-87, agency: Regeneracom Sports) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Five MBK Ruzomberok players scored in double figures. At the losing side Sonia Ursu (175-93) responded with 13 points and FYR Macedonian Jelena Antic (187-91, college: Liberty) scored 5 points and 9 rebounds.
