Regular Season Round 10: Camaguey - Capitalinos 58-79

The biggest surprise of round 10 in LSB took place in Camaguey where guest Capitalinos (#1) crushed lower ranked Tigres (#2) by 21 points 79-58 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tigres. It was a key game for the top position in the league. International center Orestes Torres (203-87) fired 25 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Arlen Alorda (198-86) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Capitalinos' coach Rainel Panfet felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Keiler Cala (195-94) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks and Yoanny Balde added 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Defending champion maintains first position with 7-3 record, which they share with Ciego de Avila. Tigres at the other side dropped to the third place with four games lost. They share the position with Villa Clara. Capitalinos is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Santiago (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tigres will play against the league's second-placed Ciego (#2) in Avila and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
