Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked BG Lulea (4-9) was outscored by first ranked Alvik Basket (9-1) in Bromma 79-54 on Sunday. The game without a history. Alvik Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to BG Lulea's 28. Alvik Basket forced 25 BG Lulea turnovers. It was a very good performance for forward Mathias Liljeqvist (196-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Forward Richard Hartmann (203-89) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Alvik Basket players scored in double figures. Alvik Basket's coach David McCann felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Jonatan Arvidsson (180-98) replied with 28 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Anton Leth (191-97) added 10 points in the effort for BG Lulea. Alvik Basket maintains first position in BEHN forts with 9-1 record. BG Lulea lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with nine games lost. Alvik Basket will face league's second-placed Ostersund on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BG Lulea will play against Taby Basket (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
