An interesting game for Koping (10-2) which hosted in Koping their biggest opponent Helsingborg (8-5). First ranked Koping managed to get a 5-point victory 69-64. The hosts trailed by 8 points after three quarters before their 25-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Koping forced 19 Helsingborg turnovers and outrebounded them 42-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for center Mikael Axelsson (207-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Robertino Duric (192-92) contributed with 25 points and 9 steals for the winners. Forward Erik Joelsson (198-97) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Anton Persson (180-97) added 16 points in the effort for Helsingborg. Newly promoted Koping maintains first position in BEHS forts with 10-2 record. Loser Helsingborg keeps the second place with five games lost. Koping will have a break next round. Helsingborg will play at home against Boras II and hope to win that game.
