We should mention about the upset which took place in Balikesir, where higher ranked Pertevniyal (8-10) lost to sixteenth ranked Bandirma Kir. (6-12) in a road game 79-91 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 28-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Bandirma Kir. forced 19 Pertevniyal turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Loser Pertevniyal keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. Bandirma Kir. will face higher ranked Meliksah (#11) in Kayseri in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
