The game was mostly controlled by Gimle. Ytrebygda managed to win third quarter 24-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Ytrebygda to just 4 points in second quarter and to 11 points in first half. Gimle held Ytrebygda to an opponent 24.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 28.9 percent accuracy of the winners. Gimle forced 20 Ytrebygda turnovers. Even 20 points by guard Karoline Falch-Monsen (169-98) did not help to save the game for Ytrebygda. Point guard Solveig Mildestvedt (165-98) added 8 points and 4 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gimle maintains fourth position with 8-6 record. Ytrebygda lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost. Gimle will meet at home higher ranked Asker (#3) in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Ytrebygda will play against Bergen (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
