There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Zabiny (8-10) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked VS Praha (7-12) 74-59 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for VS Praha especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.5 percentage. It was a great evening for the former international swingman Petra Zaplatova (175-91) who led her team to a victory scoring 15 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Power forward Andrea Sladkova (187-91) helped adding 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four VS Praha players scored in double figures. At the losing side Klara Krivankova (183-96) responded with 14 points and Serbian forward Maja Vucurovic (187-91, agency: Josep and Nicolas) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. VS Praha maintains ninth place with 7-12 record. Loser Zabiny dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. VS Praha will meet SBS Ostrava (#11) on the road in the next round. Zabiny will play against Kara Trutnov and hope to secure a win.
