Guaros toppled Arecibo for the second straight victory in Group D. Zach Graham nailed 23 points to lead the Venezuelan team. Arecibo stayed in front throughout the first half. The Puerto Rican team piled up a 47:40 halftime lead. But Guaros turned the tables in the third term. They fired 32 points in the period and pulled ahead. They protected the lead throughout the fourth quarter and marched to the win. Damien Wilkins netted 19 points in the victory. Guillermo Diaz responded with 24 points for Arecibo.
