Regular Season Round 16: Kumanovo - Feni Industries 82-74

An interesting game for Kumanovo 2009 (11-5) which hosted in Kumanovo one of their biggest challengers Feni Industries (9-7). Third ranked Kumanovo 2009 managed to get a 8-point victory 82-74. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Feni Industries. The hosts trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 25-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Aleksandar Kostoski (186-88, agency: Beo Basket) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 6 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Montenegrin power forward Zarko Rakocevic (204-84, agency: Mansfield and Associates) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Kumanovo 2009 players scored in double figures. Croatian guard Karlo Vragovic (192-89) replied with 19 points and 7 assists and the former international power forward Kiril Nikolovski (210-88) added 18 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Feni Industries. Kumanovo 2009 have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Kumanovo 2009 maintains third position with 11-5 record having four points less than leader MZT Skopje. Feni Industries at the other side keep the fourth place with seven games lost. Kumanovo 2009 is looking forward to face league's second-placed Karpos Sokoli in Skopje in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Feni Industries will play at home against Best Gevgelija and are hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
