Brasilia fired past Capitalinos to improve at 1-1 record in Group D. Lucas Cipolini and Arthur Silva posted 17 points each to pace the Brazilian team. Brasilia dominated in the first half. They recorded a 26:13 lead ten minutes into the game. They extended the margin at 27-point mark at the interval. Capitalinos stopped the rot in the third term but Brasilia erupted for 32 points in the fourth frame to seal the victory. Jefferson Campos provided 16 points in the win. Joan Luis Haiti responded with 16 points and 14 rebounds for Capitalinos.
