BK Kolin (#5) was upset in Svitavy by eighth ranked Basketbal Svitavy 74-63. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BK Kolin. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 42-29 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. BK Kolin's coach Predrag Benacek rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Basketbal Svitavy maintains eighth position with 11-17 record. Loser BK Kolin keeps the fifth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with USK Praha. Basketbal Svitavy will meet MMCITE Brno (#11) on the road in the next round. BK Kolin will play against the league's second-placed Prostejov (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
