Everything went according to plan when third ranked Falconara (16-4) defeated on the road 13th ranked Valmontone (6-14) 88-70 on Sunday. The former international point guard Fabio Ruini (185-80) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Vincenzo Di Viccaro (191-84) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Falconara players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Luca Bisconti (206-82) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Dario Scodavolpe (193-83) added 22 points and 4 assists in the effort for Valmontone. Newly promoted Falconara maintains third position in B with 16-4 record having just two points less than leader Forli. Valmontone at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the thirteenth place with 14 games lost. Falconara will face Porto S.Elpidio (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Valmontone will play against Taranto and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
