Arecibo stormed past Capitalinos for the second victory in Group D. Joel Jones stepped up with 21 points for the Puerto Rican team. Arecibo dominated from start to finish. They piled up a 52:32 halftime lead. Capitalinos slowed down their opponents in the second half but still could not recover. Angel Alamo had 17 points and 9 boards, while David Cortez netted 15 points for the winners. Osmel Oliva responded with 14 points for Capitalinos.
