The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Olympiacos as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Olympiacos defeated 5th ranked PAOK in Athens 83-76. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. 24 personal fouls committed by PAOK helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. PAOK lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Apollon Patras and Nea Kifisia. PAOK will play next round against AGOR trying to get back on the winning streak. Olympiacos will try to continue on its current victory against tenth ranked Lavrio on the road.
