The game was mostly controlled by ALBA Berlin. Neptunas was better in third quarter 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Neptunas to just 7 points in second quarter. ALBA Berlin dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Neptunas' 14. American point guard Robert Lowery (188-87, college: Dayton) scored 24 points to lead the charge for the winners and Alex King (200-85) chipped in 5 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. ALBA Berlin's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The best for the losing side was American Daniel Ewing (191-83, college: Duke) with 17 points and 5 assists and his fellow American import power forward Jerai Grant (203-89, college: Clemson) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds.
