ZBL top team - Basketball Nymburk (18-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Basket Slovanka MB (5-14) 101-54. Basketball Nymburk dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Basket Slovanka MB's 34. Basketball Nymburk forced 28 Basket Slovanka MB turnovers and outrebounded them 43-26 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Basketball Nymburk players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Basket Slovanka MB's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of guard Alena Hunkova (174-87) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and Russian-Ukrainian center Aleksandra Khomenchuk (202-89) who added 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Basketball Nymburk players scored in double figures. Basketball Nymburk's coach felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Basketball Nymburk have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 18-1 record. Basket Slovanka MB lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 14 games lost. Basketball Nymburk will play against Zabiny (#8) in Brno in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Basket Slovanka MB will play on the road against Valosun Brno and hopes to get back on the winning track.
