Second Stage Round 4: BGEU-RCOR - GOCOR-Sozh 76-59

The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked BGEU-RCOR's (5-13) home victory over bottom-ranked GOCOR-Sozh (1-17) 76-59 on Friday. The game without a history. BGEU-RCOR led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding GOCOR-Sozh to just 7 points in first quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Siarhei Vabishchevich (192-88) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and point guard Dmitriy Roslikau (183-95) who added 15 points during the contest. At the losing side point guard Tsimafei Viaroukin (187-93) responded with 15 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Aleksandr Kopacev (203-95) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. BGEU-RCOR moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Prinemanye. GOCOR-Sozh lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 17 lost games. BGEU-RCOR will meet at home higher ranked Vitebsk (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. GOCOR-Sozh will play against Prinemanye and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
