An interesting game took place in Thessaloniki where higher ranked PAOK (8-10) was upset on its own court by eleventh ranked AGOR (7-11) 94-87 on Saturday. PAOK was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. The best player for the winners was American Tyler Stone (203-91, college: SE Missouri St.) who scored 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import guard Rashad Madden (196-92, college: Arkansas) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian guard Milenko Tepic (202-87, agency: Beo Basket) who recorded 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and Serbian power forward Nikola Markovic (208-89) added 15 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. PAOK's coach Soulis Markopoulos rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. AGOR moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Kolossos and Koroivos. PAOK lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with ten games lost. They share it with Apollon Patras and Nea Kifisia. AGOR will meet at home Lavrio (#12) in the next round. PAOK will play against Kolossos (#8) in Rodou and hope to secure a win.
