Second Stage Round 4: BGEU-RCOR - GOCOR-Sozh 70-56

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 8th ranked GOCOR-Sozh's (1-17) road loss to seventh ranked BGEU-RCOR (5-13) 56-70 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by BGEU-RCOR. GOCOR-Sozh managed to win third quarter 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Siarhei Vabishchevich (192-88) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 assists and 4 steals and point guard Dmitriy Roslikau (183-95) who added 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side power forward Aleksandr Kopacev (203-95) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Evgeniy Rybkin (195-96) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Four GOCOR-Sozh players scored in double figures. BGEU-RCOR moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Prinemanye. GOCOR-Sozh lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 17 lost games. BGEU-RCOR will meet at home higher ranked Vitebsk (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. GOCOR-Sozh will play against Prinemanye and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
