Very important is a road loss of third ranked Asker (11-4) against fourth ranked Gimle (9-6) on Saturday night. Visiting Asker was crushed by Gimle in Bergen 65-45. The game without a history. Gimle led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Gimle outrebounded Asker 43-28 including a 27-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Guard Ingrid Gjerdevik (169-92) nailed 23 points for the winning side and guard Julie Winther (178-87) accounted for 14 points and 9 rebounds. Gimle's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Ingrid Selvik (178-92) came up with 13 points and 7 rebounds and forward Nina Nyegaarden (178-98) added 6 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Asker in the defeat.
