Regular Season Round 19: Kotwica - TKM Wloclawek 103-69

2Liga top team - Kotwica (17-1) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked TKM Wloclawek (4-15) in Kolobrzeg 103-69. Kotwica dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to TKM Wloclawek's 40 and made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Kotwica looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a quality performance for forward Pawel Pawlowski (196-82) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. Grzegorz Arabas (191-78, agency: Promotex) accounted for 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Five Kotwica players scored in double figures. Swingman Kamil Hanke (192-95) came up with 20 points and forward Grzegorz Soltysiak (198-87) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for TKM Wloclawek in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the seventeenth consecutive win for Kotwica. They maintain first place in Group A with 17-1 record. Newly promoted TKM Wloclawek keeps the twelfth position with 15 games lost. Kotwica will meet Pelplin (#5) in the next round. TKM Wloclawek will play against Asseco II (#3) and hope to secure a win.
